What Is The Print Spooler Subsystem Application?
This process is called the Print Spooler subsystem application, and the file is called spoolsv.exe. He is responsible for managing print and fax jobs in Windows.
When you print something, the print job is sent to the print spooler, which is responsible for sending it to the printer. If the printer is offline or busy, the Print Spooler service pauses the print job and waits for the printer to become available before sending it.
This process also covers other interactions with your printers, including printer setup. You won't even be able to see your list of installed printers if you turn it off. You will need this process if you want to print or fax to your Windows PC.
