Best way to fix uninstall software startup in Windows XPJuly 11, 2020 by Brayden Callaghan
We hope that if you know how to remove the boot software in Windows XP on your system, this guide will help you. In the system setup program window, go to the "Startup" tab. This is a list of programs that can be turned on or off when you turn on the computer. Check the box to the left of the startup item that you want to disable.
Do you want a specific program to run every time you start Windows? Perhaps you created your own program or downloaded something from the Internet. In any case, it is relatively easy to add a program at startup in Windows XP.
There are two main ways to do this. One of them is to add a shortcut to the EXE file in the Start folder in Windows, and the other is to use scheduled tasks. In this article, I will explain how to use both methods.
Add Programs To The Startup Folder
This is my favorite method because it is simple. To do this, go to the following directory on your computer:
User can be All users or a specific user. If you want the program to run for a user who logs on to the computer, go to the "All Users" folder. If you want to run it only for a specific user, select that user and go to his home folder.
Now find the program to start when Windows starts. Make sure you are looking for an exe file. Now just right click on nin this .exe file and select Create Shortcut.
That's it! Now restart your computer and you will see that the program starts automatically as soon as you enter Windows! Pretty simple like that!
Create A Scheduled TaskThe second way to add a program to run on Windows XP is to create a scheduled task that will run the program.
The wizard starts. Go ahead and click Next. First you must select the program that you want to run at startup. The list is displayed automatically. However, you can also click Browse and select a specific one.
Click Next, then choose when to start it. In our case, we choose When I connect. You can also choose when to start my computer. However, this means that it can be loaded even before you enter Windows.
Click Next and enter the password for the administrator account. Be sure to enter the password, otherwise the task will not be completed.
Click Next, then click Finish. That's all. Your task will now appear in the list of scheduled tasks. Reboot Find your computer and the program should load correctly.
So, these are two easy ways to add autoloading to Windows XP! If you have any questions, write a comment here and I will try to help you. Enjoy it!
