Fix: How not to fix the xp system recovery option

There may be an error indicating that there is no way to restore the xp system. There are several ways to solve this problem, and we will discuss them now.

To work around the “System Restore was not completed properly” error, try starting System Restore in safe mode:
  1. Restart your computer and press F8 until the Windows logo appears.
  2. Select safe mode and press Enter.
  3. After loading Windows, open System Restore and follow the instructions in the wizard to continue.



How to fix it if the system restore points no longer appear in Windows (the points are missing or disappeared). These patches can be applied to the following versions of Windows: XP, Vista, 7, 8,10.

The Windows Volume Shadow Copy utility backs up your Windows while it is in use. If volume shadow copying is disabled, your computer’s system restore points may not be available.

If your system paging file is fragmented, system restore points may be deleted each time you restart. This is a very common behavior on Windows 7.
