How do I turn off programs at startup?

Deactivate on Windows 8 and 10
On most Windows computers, you can access the task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc and then going to the Start tab. Select a program from the list and click the "Disable" button if you do not want it to start when it starts.

Boot programs are programs that start automatically when the system boots. This is good practice for programs that you often use. This saves you from searching for these programs or, in some cases, from manually configuring them.

However, if you have too many startups, this may slow down the startup process. This has a particularly negative effect on systems with low bandwidth or less processing power.

In this article, you will learn how to open the control panel for starter applications, activate and deactivate starter applications, and finally add our desired starter programs in Windows 7, 8, and 10.

Each of these versions of Windows has a control panel for launching applications, which displays a list of applications that can start automatically at startup. These applications are enabled to run or disabled.

On Windows 7

Open The “Launch Application” Control Panel

Open the Windows Start menu and enter “MSCONFIG”. When you press Enter, the system configuration console opens. Then rego to the “Startup” tab, which displays some programs that you can enable or disable to start.

Disable / Enable Application Autoload

Add Starter Application

Create a shortcut for the desired program, copy it and paste it into this folder. Then the program is automatically added to the panel with the status “activated”.

On Windows 8

Open The “Launch Application” Control Panel

Disable / Enable Application Autoload

Add Starter Application

Click on the window and press R to open the Run dialog box. Then enter% AppData%. This will open the travel folder.

Go to \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Start \ Menu \ Programs \ Startup. Paste the link of the desired application into this folder. This makes it a start-up application with the status “activated”.

On Windows 10

Open The “Launch Application” Control Panel

Disable / Enable Application Launch

Add Starter Application

In this folder you can add any application of your choice that you wantStart at startup. They are added to the list so you can disable or enable them when accessing running applications.

If there is an application that you always launch when your system starts up, it would be nice to make it a launcher.

If your system starts up slowly, this may be related to startups. Now you know how to disable or minimize it.
