It appears that some users have encountered a known error code when creating a group in Outlook from email. This problem can occur for several reasons. Let's look at them below.
Use email to create a contact group Open the email that was sent to the people you want to add to the contact group. Mark all the names in the To or Cc box with the mouse. Right-click on your selection, then click Copy, or press Ctrl + C. Click New Contact Group.
How do I create an email distribution list in Outlook?
- Go to the email folder and double-click to open the email message for which you want to create a recipient mailing list.
- Then click the recipient in the To field and right-click it.
- All recipients are then selected in the To field.
If you manually selected contacts each time you send an email to multiple colleagues, stop working immediately.
The first step in editing is managing your address book and creating contact groups. In Personal Edition, you can do this in Outlook, then export your contacts from a CSV file and import them into GroupMail. You can also create groups in GroupMail from scratch and add your contacts manually.
Nothing is easier with GroupMail Business Edition. This publication implies less list maintenance and more sophisticated features, such as the ability to send personalized individualized emails to a group.
To help you get started sending group messages, we have implemented four simple steps to send group email using GroupMail Business Edition.
Creating contact groups can take a lot of time, but it's worth the investment, as there will eventually be more minutes if you need to send a group message. Everyone has to start somewhere, and as soon as you organize your address book and set up yourgroups, the process of sending emails from the group will be much smoother. For more information, go to the Microsoft website: create and edit a contact group.
After installing or updating GroupMail Business Edition, you can now associate GroupMail with your Outlook address book. The advantage of this is that you do not need to export contacts from a CSV file and import them into GroupMail. You just need to keep a mailing list. As a result, any changes made to the Outlook address book are automatically synchronized with GroupMail.
GroupMail Outlook Toolbar is exclusive to GroupMail Business Edition. You can use the Outlook toolbar to start GroupMail, create a new GroupMail message, or forward the message to your GroupMail group. To install the toolbar, close all programs and run the GroupMail installation. Select "Outlook Toolbar" as the component to install. Click Next to continue the installation. Open Outlook after installation is complete, and you will see new icons on the GroupMail toolbar in Section "Add-ons". For more information about using the Outlook GroupMail toolbar, click here.
After installing the Outlook GroupMail toolbar, you can create quick and convenient group messages under add-ins in Outlook. Another interesting feature of GroupMail Business Edition is that you can add recipients from GroupMail groups to Outlook and delete them from the Outlook toolbar.
