If you have a Biostar checksum error, this article should help.
A checksum error may indicate a damaged CMOS. This error could be caused by a dead battery. Check the battery and replace if necessary. Displays the operating speed of the CPU.
CMOS battery failure
CMOS battery has stopped working. Contact your system dealer for battery replacement.
CMOS checksum error - defaults loaded
The CMOS checksum is incorrect, so the system loads the default device configuration. A checksum error can indicate damage to the CMOS. This error could be caused by a dead battery. Check the battery and replace if necessary.
CPU in nnnn
Shows the operating speed of the processor.
Display toggle set incorrectly
The motherboard display switch can be set to black and white or color. This message indicates that the switch is set to a position other than configuration. Determine the correct setting, then turn off the system and changejumper or go to the Setup menu and change the VIDEO selection.
Press ESC to skip memory test
The user can press Esc to skip the full memory test.
floppy disk (s) error
Could not find or initialize controller or floppy drive. Make sure the controller is installed correctly. If a floppy drive is not installed, make sure the floppy drive selection in the installer is set to NO or AUTO.

Some hard drives take extra time to initialize.
HARD DRIVE ERROR
Could not find or initialize controller or hard drive. Make sure the controller is installed correctly. If no hard drive is installed, make sure the hard drive selection is set to NO in the setup.
Diagnostics of hard drive (s) failed
The system may be performing some diagnostic routines on the drive. This message appears when one or more hard drives return an error during diagnostics.
Keyboard error or keyboard not available
Unable to initialize keyboard. Make sure the keyboard is properly connected and that no keys are pressed during POST. To intentionally configure a system without a keyboard, set the error stop condition to HALT ON ALL, BUT KEYBOARD. The BIOS then ignores the missing keyboard during POST.
Keyboard locked - unlock key
This message usually indicates that one or more keys were pressed while testing the keyboard. Make sure there is nothing on the keyboarddoes not lie.
This message appears during a memory check and counts down the memory areas to be checked.
Memory test failed
If POST encounters an error during a memory check, additional information is displayed containing information about the type and location of the 'memory error.
Override enabled - defaults loaded
If the system cannot boot with the current CMOS configuration, the BIOS can overwrite the current configuration with a number of BIOS defaults. required for the most stable system operation at minimum power.
Press Tab to display the POST screen
