Here are some simple steps to help solve the problem of waking up the BIOS on your local network.

  1. During the self-test, when the computer is turned on, open the BIOS settings screen by pressing the F1, INS or DEL key.
  2. Select Power Settings. Check the start command.
  3. Activate the startup options on the PCI card, on the local network, or on the network.
  4. Click Save and exit the BIOS settings.

Is Wake on LAN enabled by default?

With WOL (Wake On LAN), you can activate your computer using the Unified Remote application. However, this feature is usually not enabled by default. On some computers, you may need to enable BIOS setup to enable WOL.
